The Seed of Inspiration
It all began with APS Training Academy, our non-profit initiative dedicated to illuminating young minds free of cost. Recognizing the disparities in access to quality STEM education, our vision with APS Training Academy was clear: empower the underserved community with free STEM training, bridge the digital divide, and build the innovators of tomorrow.
Yet, as our journey progressed, another narrative emerged. We heard stories from countless families, parents who valued the importance of STEM education but found themselves in a unique predicament. Their incomes, although modestly above our threshold, did not necessarily provide the luxury of affording high-quality, specialized training for their children. They voiced their concerns, their hopes, and their aspirations for their children.
The Birth of Ready Set Code
It was these voices that led to the inception of Ready Set Code. A for-profit initiative, Ready Set Code is our answer to the growing demand for affordable STEM education, beyond the boundaries of income brackets. We believe that every child, regardless of their economic background, deserves access to the tools and teachings that will shape the future.
Our courses are meticulously designed to be both enriching and affordable, ensuring that children receive top-tier education without straining the family budget. Our educators, many of whom have been with us since the APS Training Academy days, bring passion and expertise to every lesson, instilling a love for learning and setting our students on a path to success.
